HANC Girls’ Volleyball Team Wins Again
UNIONDALE, NY — The HANC Girls Volleyball Team defeated the Flatbush Falcons in three straight sets. Although after the game they were collectively convinced that there were still some errors to fix, the HANC players continued their dream undefeated season and advanced to a dominant 6-0 lead.
After the match, sophomore Eden Rosenstock elaborated on the happiness the players felt with the win but gave voice to some frustration with their execution: “We started off really strong in the first and second sets and played really well as a team. In the third set, our communication was lacking and we were not playing up to our usual standard.” This led to some nerves amongst the HANC faithful and players alike. “It was a very close game,” she added, “but in the end we managed to pull out a win.”
The team made it look easy in their first two sets with serving a particular highlight in what seemed a relatively straightforward win. The third and final set, however, ultimately came down to the final point. In the end, they were able to earn the final point, win the game, and go home both elated and relieved.
Everyone is encouraged to tune in to the next game (and hopefully win:) on Thursday!
